Hypocrisy 2

We learn as we go through life, some of us faster than others (all for His appointed reasons). I recently learned from Karl, my mother's husband, that he belived there are two types of Christians: those who are "saved," and those who have been saved AND born again.

Those who are saved continue to lug around baggage from their past. Knowing in the end they have salvation - eternal life! But we have a right NOW GOD! Without being "born again," our souls ache, our spirits remain dormant and our actions contradict us as followers of Jesus Christ.

Hypocrites. Who are seemingly, willingly and/or content (an illusion) to carry unnecessary burdens. To those their lives are a struggle, yet they get to heaven! Awesome! But God wants us to live an abundant life NOW! This is the life I once lived. Lost and alone thinking of ending it all.

I was - "stuck" in that chrysalis stage. Living the life of hypocrisy and not knowing why. Few, if any of us are taught how to live the life of rest, abundance and assurance we read about in Psalm 23.

Nicodemus went to Jesus in the cover of night and the Lord told him to not only see the kingdom of heaven but also enter into "The Kingdom," to be born again.

Continue to shine His Light, and be a Traveling Light for the world!
